How Much Do Contact Lenses Cost?

The cost of your contact lenses themselves is only part of the cost of wearing contacts. There are the materials - the actual lenses - and there are the professional fees which provide the fitting, your solutions, and, most importantly, your ongoing eye health care.

The Medical Services Plan of B.C. does not cover any of the cost of contact lenses nor any of the services or office visits related to contact lens wear. You are responsible personally for these costs. You may chose to be charged for the items as they are required, or you may opt to be covered by our office "Contact Lens Eye Health Programme". The Contact Lens Eye Health Programme covers you completely for all services related to lens wear, your solutions, and greatly reduces your cost of contact lens materials. It is by far the most economical way to wear contact lenses, and yet receive optimal eye health care.

We believe that the combination of comprehensive, professional eye health and technical services, and the finest quality of materials our office provides, gives our patients unsurpassed care and assurance at this most reasonable cost.
